About COVID 19 :
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious respiratory disease, also known as 2019 Novel CoronaVirus or 2019-nCov. It was first identified in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and officially recognized as a pandemic by WHO (World Health Organization) on 11th March 2020.
Be Aware :
The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow), maintain distance from people (atleast about 6 feet) & avoid close contact with one another
Precautions :
- Wash your hands often using soap/ handwash & water for atleast 20 seconds
- Use sanitizer and rub all over your hands
- Avoid touching face (mouth, eyes and nose) with unwashed hands
- Stay indoors and Avoid close contact with sick people
- Cover your mouth while coughing & sneezing with tissue & wash/dispose it off immediately
- Avoid close contact with people > 60 years & < 10 years of age as they are more vulnerable to the virus & may catch the infection easily
- Regularly clean & disinfect your furniture, door knobs, window handles, door bells, laptops, other electronic devices which are used frequently
- After receiving any courier/ parcel, ensure washing/ sanitizing your hands properly & wash the item if it is washable or else keep it untouched for a few hours
